Spring is in the Air!
Wow! We've (hopefully) made it through another winter and Spring is just around the corner! Spring brings LOTS of new fabric, bright colors, fun projects and... a NEW HOME for Palmetto Stitches and Quilts!
It's taking a little longer that we expected, but - we promise - it will be worth the wait! We'll be sharing specifics soon, but we're all excited that we'll have almost 3 times the space, a dedicated long arm studio (with long arm classes and machine rental), a *real* training room with space to have classes and spread out and have sit-and-sews, a break room, bathrooms that we don't share with our neighbors, a dedicated sewing machine repair center (yes, Tommy Leitner will be moving with us!), and LOTS of space for new fabric, precuts, notions, and patterns!
Our target date is now June 1st!
Even as we grow, we realize that it wouldn't be possible without each of you! Your continued support, your friendships, and your willingness to "grow with us" as we've worked to figure out how to do retail in the world of rising costs, COVID, the internet, and decreasing margins (and suppliers) has helped us not only survive, but thrive!
As we've said before - when we opened the shop, we didn't want to just be another "quilt shop." The quilt shop, for us, is an extension of who we are! We work hard to create a place that you feel welcome - regardless of who you are, where you're from, what your background is, or what you're all about. This is a place where you can come, sit, feel comfortable, and get to know other kindred spirits! Even if you don't buy anything, we'd be honored to have you stop by, sit down and visit. Stop by and become a part of our family!
If you haven't stopped by, or if you haven't been by our shop, come see us! We're constantly striving to make things better, we're adding inventory daily, and we're doing our best to offer the best products, prices and - most importantly - the best customer service in the entire sewing and quilting world!
