Welcome to Palmetto Stitches & Quilts, where the fabric is beautiful, the advice is free, and there’s a pretty good chance somebody will ask what you’re working on before you make it very far through the door.

Located in the heart of historic Camden, South Carolina, we’re more than a place to buy fabric. We’re a gathering place for people who love to create. Whether you’re making your very first quilt, finishing your fiftieth, or just stopping by because you really do need one more yard of fabric—we’re glad you’re here.

New to quilting? Come on in. We’ve got you. We’ll help you choose your fabric, answer the questions you’re afraid to ask, and walk alongside you as you learn. Been quilting longer than some of us have been alive? We’ve got something for you, too. Our knowledgeable staff loves sharing techniques, talking through projects, and passing along a pro tip or two.

You’ll find fabrics and notions from all the major vendors, along with classes, professional long arm quilting services, and sewing machine repair for all major brands. But what we’re most proud of is something you can’t put on a shelf: good, old-fashioned customer service. We want to know your name, hear about your project, celebrate when it turns out beautifully, and help you figure it out when it doesn’t.
